1 LOLIP Prescription Only Medicine. Composition: Lolip 10: Each tablet contains: Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to 10 mg atorvastatin. Lolip 20: Each tablet contains: Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to 20 mg atorvastatin. Lolip 40: Each caplet contains: Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to 40 mg atorvastatin. Lolip 80: Each caplet contains: Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to 80 mg atorvastatin. Therapeutic Activity: Atorvastatin is an antihyperlipidaemic drug that inhibits the enzyme 3hydroxy3 methylglutarylcoenzyme A (HMGCoA) reductase. When should not the drug be used: Lolip should not be used in the following cases: Hypersensitivity to any component of this drug. Active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases. In patients suffering from skeletal muscular disease. During pregnancy and in nursing mothers. In children less than 10 years and adolescents. Do not take this drug without consulting your physician before starting treatment: If you suffered in the past from liver dysfunction If you are pregnant, nursing mother or planning to become pregnant. Adverse Effects: Side effects may occur during the course of treatment with Lolip but are mild and transient. The most frequent adverse events are constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness, headache and insomnia. If any other side effect occurs than these listed, the physician shall be consulted such as face edema, chest pain and fever. Precautions: It is recommended that liver function tests be performed prior to and after 3 months following both the initiation of therapy and any elevation of dose, and periodically (semiannual) thereafter. Eye tests shall be performed before initiation of treatment. During treatment with this medicine, the following tests shall be performed: a yearly eye examination, regular liver test and cholesterol level. The increase of muscle enzymes (CPK) in the blood shall be examined in patients with signs of muscle disease (Myopathy).

2 Drug Interactions: If you are taking another drug concomitantly or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform your physician in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy arising from drug interactions. This is especially important for medicines belonging to the following groups: Antacids (i.e. magnesium and aluminum hydroxide), digoxin, erythromicin, cyclosporine, fibric acid derivatives, colestipol, oral contraceptives, warfarin, gemfibrozil, niacin, antifungal medicines (such as ketoconazole, fluconazole, miconazole or itraconazole). Attention: Avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Eating grapefruit and drinking grapefruit juice is totally prohibited while using Lolip. Dosage: The dosage is according to the physician s instructions only and should not exceed the prescribed dose. Directions for Use: Lolip is administered orally, and is advised to be swallowed with a small amount of water without regard to meals. Maintain low cholesterol diet while undergoing treatment with this medicine. To Avoid Poisoning: Keep the medicine out of the reach of children If an excessive dose is taken or if a child swallowed the medication, accidentally seek help at an emergency and take the remaining medicine with you Do not induce vomiting without consulting your physician Do not take your medication in the dark, always read the label and make sure you are taking the right medication Always notice the expiry date, and never use medicines after the mentioned date Avoid exposure of the drug to excessive heat and humidity during storage. Take the drug only as prescribed by the physician and do not exceed the prescribed dose. Storage: Store at a temperature between 15 C. Presentation: Lolip 10: A box of tablets. 3 لوليب ملزم بوصفة طب ة. التر ی ة الدواي ة: لولیب 10: قرص حتو ل على: 10 لولیب 20: ل قرص حتو على: 20 لولیب 40: قرص حتو ل على: 40 لولیب 80: ل قرص حتو على: 80. الفاعل ة الدواي ة: یث ط انز م.(HMGCoA) reductase هو علاج مضاد لارتفاع الدهن ات في الدم حیث متى منع استخدام هذا الدواء: استخدام منع لولیب في الحالات التال ة: وجود حساس ة لا من مر ات الدواء مرض الكبد النشط أو وجود ز ادة مستمرة غیر معروفة الا س اب في نتاي ج الوظاي ف الكبد ة ) مستو Transaminases في الدم) المرضى الذین ش ون من مرض في العضلات اله ل ة خلال فترة الحمل والارضاع الا طفال دون العاشرة من العمر والم ارهقین. لا تستخدم هذا الدواء دون استشارة الطبیب قبل بدء العلاج: اذا نت قد عانیت سا قا من ام ارض في الكبد. اذا كنت حاملا مرضعا ا و تخططين للحمل.

4 الا ع ارض الجانب ة: الا ع ارض الجانب ة التي قد تظهر خلال العلاج مستحضر لولیب تكون عادة خف فة ومؤقتة. أغلب هذه الا ع ارض الجانب ة حدوثا هي: إمساك إسهال انتفاخات عسر هضم آلام في ال طن غث ان تقیؤ فقدان الشه ة ضعف عام ألم في ال أرس و أرق اذا ظهرت اع ارض جانب ة اخر لم یتم ذ رها یجب م ارجعة الطبیب مثل: انتفاخ الوجه آلام الصدر وا لح اررة. الاحت اطات: یجب اج ارء فحوصات طب ة لوظ فة الكبد قبل البدء العلاج و عد 3 اشهر من بدء العلاج ومن ا ز ادة في الجرعة و ذلك فحوصات دور ة ش ه سنو ة عد ذلك. یجب إج ارء فحوصات طب ة للعین قبل البدء استخدام الدواء. أثناء استعمال الدواء یجب عمل فحص للعیون سنو ا فحص دور للكبد ولمستو الكول سترول. یجب إج ارء فحوصات طب ة لمستو الا نز مات الخاصة العضلات ) (CPK في الدم لد المرضى المصابین مرض عضلي.(Myopathy) التفاعلات مع العقاقیر الا خر : دواء آخ ار في نفس الوقت أو إن نت قد أنهیت مؤخ ار تناول علاج آخر عل ك إن نت تستخدم إ لاغ الطبیب لمنع حدوث تداخلات ولضمان فعال ة الدواء وخاصة إذا ان الدواء الذ تتناوله أو نت تستخدمه عود إلى المجموعات التال ة: مضادات الحموضة (هیدرو سید المغنیز وم والا لومنیوم) دیجو سین ایر ثروما سین س لوسبور ن مشتقات حامض الفیبر ك ولستیبول موانع الحمل التي تؤخذ عن طر الفم وارفر ن جمفیبروز ل ن اسین مضادات الفطر ات (مثل:الكیتو ونازول الفلو ونازول م ونازول والا ت اركونازول). لولیب. تحذیر: تجنب شرب الكحول خلال فترة استخدام الدواء. یجب عدم تناول الجر ب فروت أو شرب عصیره خلال فترة استخدام الجرعة: الجرعة حسب ارشادات الطبیب فقط ولا تتجاوز الجرعة الموصوفة.

5 تعل مات الاستخدام: یؤخذ لولیب عن طر الفم و نصح بتناوله مع م ة قلیلة من الماء غض النظر عن الوج ات یجب المحافظة على تناول غذاء غیر غني الكول سترول أثناء استخدام العلاج. لتجنب التسمم: احفظ الا دو ة عیدا عن متناول أید الا طفال في حالة تناول جرعة ازي دة أو إن تناول طفل الدواء عن طر الخطا فیجب التوجه م اشرة إلى قسم الطوارئ مع أخذ الكم ة المت ق ة من الدواء لا تحاول تحفیز القيء دون استشارة الطبیب لا تتناول دواءك في الظلام واق أر التعل مات لتتا كد أنك تا خذ الدواء الموصوف لك انت ه لتار خ نفاذ الفاعل ة ولا تا خذ الدواء عد تار خ الانتهاء المذ ور یجب عدم تعر ض الدواء لدرجة ح اررة عال ة أو نس ة رطو ة عال ة خلال فترة التخز ن تناول الدواء حسب تعل مات الطبیب فقط ولا تتجاوز الجرعة الموصوفة. التخز ن: احفظ الدواء على 15 بین ما درجة ح اررة م. العبوة: لولیب 10: لولیب 20: 28 لولیب 40: لولیب 80: شارع المدارس رقم 81 ص. ب 58 بيت جالا فلسطين
