No I swear to God, if I had risen based on these two, indeed I would have become misguided just as those before me who became misguided, but I rose based on a proof from my Lord which is hidden for you and soon He will reveal it for you, so your necks will become submissive to it! At this time, he glanced at our faces and it was as if there were birds sitting on our heads, then he said: or you may think that I invited you to this work out of fondness or need for you! That is not it, I swear to God who split the grain and core that if there was not the promise of God to us and His mercy to you, indeed we would have left you and put a barrier between us and you and been busy with things other than talking to you and there would have been a distance from east to west between us and you and then you would have understood that we have no interest or need to you! Then he cried to the extent that his tears flowed on his cheeks, then he said: I complain to God for my loneliness and weakness and insignificance in the eyes of people! Where are my brothers? Where are my helpers toward God? Where are those who separated from their family and children and got away from their homelands? Where are fighters in the way of God and oppressed men, women and children? Where are those who left their businesses and lost their earnings and disappeared from their cliques without being absent in their cities and became allied with a stranger who helped them in their works and turned their back on familiar people who prevent them from their goal and joined together after being dispersed and separated in 5

6 their era and cut their bonds to the worthless belongings of the world? Where are the servants of Merciful God? Where are the monks of the night and lions of the day? Where are the God s people who neither weakened nor gave up until God s help reached them? Where are those whom God loves them and they love God, they fight in the way of God and do not fear the blame of any critic? What is happening to me, why cannot I see them around me?! Yes, they rushed to their God and left me alone among people who neither know nor learn nor use intellect nor listen, they buy misguidance as guidance and sell hereafter for the world, they do not know Islam but its name and they do not know Quran but its script, so it seems the truth is dead and forgotten and oppression has covered all lands and people of falsehood are apparent and people of the truth are hidden because of the fear from their pharaohs and chiefs, lest they throw them in sedition people are ruled by the Jahiliyyah 1 rules, but they do not reject it and attribute lies to God and His Prophet while they are aware and they openly rise sedition on earth and they do not get stopped and sins are committed publicly and they do not get prohibited and they are proud of prejudice and imitation and they play with God s religion and ridicule His verses and they become deep in viewpoints and Muslims betray Muslims to become close with nonbelievers and they do not want goodness for each other and they do not promote good and do not prohibit evil, rather they see evil 1. as good and promote it and they see good as evil and prohibit it and they make Haram as Halal and Halal as Haram and they alter the commandments and they shut down the limitations and act about them by their passions and they receive bribery and practise usury with high interests and rob the Muslims treasury and commit big sins and they are not ashamed and they spoil prayers and follow lusts and rotate wealth hand by hand among their reach and make their houses like castles and build very high towers and put a sign on each height as a toy and hold firm to forts so that maybe they become eternal! Do they not see abundance of droughts and earthquakes?! Do they not see the increase of the prices and the decrease of assets with the slackness of businesses and shortcoming of profits in them and the decrease of lifetimes with sudden deaths and the decrease of crops with the decrease of cultivation growth and the diminishing of blessing in fruits?! Do they not see the wars and how they have descended on them and how safety has left their lands?! Do they not see humiliation and misery and how it has affected them wherever they are found?! Do they not see nonbelievers that how they gait in their lands and reside in their homes and kill their children and rape their women?! And indeed I am informed that one of these pigs has entered a Muslim man s home in Iraq, then has killed him in front of his family and then has harassed his wife and raped her in front of her child and then -may God kill him- has killed both of them with no obstacle before that or reprimanding after that and indeed I do not see such humiliation except as the result of sovereignties that had 7

8 been set by the people s hands and Indeed that is a tree that grows in the root of hell; its spathes are as the heads of Satans (Saffat/ 64, 65) and I see them satisfied with it They are eaters from it and they are fillers of their bellies with it (Saffat/ 66)! They assume there is safety for them on it and their return will be toward relief While on top of it there is a brew of boiling water and then their return will be toward hell (Saffat/ 67, 68)!
